Szumilas — a place to meet

Rating everything 1–5, with 5 the highest: rooms 5/5, service 5/5, location 5/5. I cannot compare it with other venues, but I recommend this place for a wedding. The couple chose it and we as guests were very happy. The rooms were comfortable, pretty and clean. Breakfast was tasty and generous. The staff were kind, helpful and warm. A big plus for the location, so close to the forest and the lake. It is quiet and calm there. Lots of greenery around and beautiful views.

Szumilas is a place that stays with you. The atmosphere, the staff and the food — everything at the highest level. Definitely worth recommending! 5/5

Highly recommended! We and all our guests were delighted. The food was very good, the surroundings beautiful. Getting in touch is quick and easy. Zosia is a wonderful, helpful person! Throughout the wedding we could always count on Andrzej. The catering team were amazing too and made sure we lacked nothing. We are happy we chose Szumilas for our wedding!

A beautiful, atmospheric place. The tent and the lights after dusk looked stunning. Good communication and a friendly team made the day turn out just as we had dreamed. The catering and its staff were a lovely surprise. The food was delicious, fresh and looked inviting. Huge thanks to Zbyszek, whose manners and individual approach to every guest won us over — we love him :) <3

In May we had the pleasure of holding our wedding at Szumilas and we can say with full confidence it was an excellent choice. The place is beautiful, the catering was delicious, and working with Kinga was a joy. All the guests loved the venue and said it was the first time they had been to a party like this. Even a storm and a short downpour did not spoil anyone’s mood, and Kinga’s quick thinking was invaluable. We had about 60 guests and I think that is the right number for a dance party here. Szumilas was a bullseye and we know we and our guests will remember that night for a long time. A truly special place :)

Szumilas is a truly special place! The tent has an incredible mood — warm lights, a cosy atmosphere and everything surrounded by nature, so it feels completely different from a traditional hall. The food was simply wonderful; guests still say it was the best they have ever had. The setting is beautiful, so the photos came out even more beautiful. We also had a wonderful contact with the manager, who helped us a lot with the preparations and was a huge support. And it was wonderful that on such a special day we could be with our dog — a member of the family to us — and he could enjoy the day with us. We recommend it with all our hearts!

A wonderful place! Close to nature, with a unique, pastoral feel. Our wedding — despite capricious weather — exceeded our wildest expectations. The staff were extremely helpful, both in the preparations and on our most important day. We warmly recommend it to anyone who dreams of a special celebration in a beautiful setting!

A beautiful, atmospheric place with very competent staff. I held my 30th birthday in the tent and it turned out like a fairytale. The tent with the lights on created such a mood that extra décor was not needed. Being able to have a barbecue / fire in the evening was brilliant — that atmosphere suited me perfectly. The team were very competent; Zofia was helpful and answered every question quickly. I can recommend hosting events here with a clear conscience. I can also recommend the catering Szumilas works with — guests praised the food a lot :)

I highly recommend Szumilas! In August we held our wedding here. Beautiful nature, a venue away from crowds, helpful staff, delicious food in huge amounts. We organised the wedding from another city — no problem at all. The day before we decorated the tent and the glade with friends. The wedding-day team were outstanding, the staff incredibly kind. We also used the overnight stay and breakfast — great value for money :) I was a bit worried we would not fit, we had about 90 guests — they managed just fine, happily using the tables around the tent, and some even danced on the grass. If you love nature, beautiful views and a carefree rustic mood, this place is for you!
